- 2filets salmon, skinned removed and cubed
- 1 tspsalt
- 1 tsppaprika
- 0.5 tsppepper
- 1 tspgarlic powder
- 1 tspmaple syrup or honey
- 1 tspsoy sauce
- 1 tspolive oil
- 1 clovegarlic, minced
- 0.5 cupmayo
- 3 tbssambal or other hot sauce
- 1 tbsfresh lemon juice(half a lemon)
- 2 cupscooked sticky rice
- 1avocado, sliced
- 0.5 cupsliced cucumber
- 2 tbsptoasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsfresh cilantro
Instructions
- 1Follow package instructions and cook rice.
- 2In a bowl toss the cubed salmon with the salt, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, maple syrup, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Let marinate for 5-10 minutes.
- 3Place an oil in non stick pan over medium high heat. Once at temperature drop in the salmon and cook each side for about 2-3 minutes. Once cooked, remove from pan.
- 4In a small bowl mix together mayo, sambal and lemon juice. Mix to pour this into a squeeze bottle just to be extra.
- 5Time to build the bowl. Add in the rice, salmon, sliced avocado, rice cucumber, spicy mayo, sesame seeds, and cilantro. Oh some green onions could be fun too! Enjoy the one!
